Biography
Sting was born as Gordon Matthew Sumner on October 2nd, 1951 to Audrey & Eric Sumner. He was the oldest
of four kids, younger brother Phillip and younger sisters Angela and Anita. He was married to Frances Tomelty for eight
years. Sting is currently married to Trudie Styler. He has six children.

He was the lead singer and bassist of late 1970s early 1980s band, The Police. they recorded five albums together
and had such hits as: roxanne, everylittle thing she does is magic, de do do do de da da da, and every breath you take.
After The Police broke up Sting had a sucessful solo career with the release of 9 albums. he has also done
songs for movies such as: the Emperors New Groove, Leaving Las Vegas, Demolition Man, Dolphins, Kate & Leopold, etc. He
is currently starting to work on his newest album in his home in Tuscany.
